In a significant move towards supporting public welfare and environmental sustainability, a Deed of Donation signing ceremony took place on April 3, 2024 between the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) โ€“ PENRO Marinduque, represented by PENRO Imelda M. Diaz and the Municipal Health and Diagnostic Center โ€“ Municipal Health Office of Boac, represented by Dr. Catherine Dell J. Sadiwa-Cruz.

As part of this agreement, PENRO Marinduque voluntarily gives, transfers, and conveys certain forest products consisting of two (2) pieces of Acacia logs, one (1) piece of Narra log, and one (1) piece of Mahogany log, covering a gross volume of 1.338 cubic meters. These materials will be utilized for the fabrication and installation of furniture, such as tables, cabinets, and shelves for the Municipal Health Office.

Also, present during the signing ceremony were PENRO Marinduque Technical Services Division Chief - Engr. Cynthia U. Lozano, Monitoring and Enforcement Section Chief, Nannette M. Joven, and Atty. Vicente L. Fabrero II and Rural Health Physician Dr. Juliean Muhi, and Administrative Aide VI Ms. Glenda Luzares.

This partnership highlights the collaborative efforts between government agencies to promote sustainable practices while addressing community needs. By repurposing forest products for essential infrastructure, PENRO Marinduque and the Municipal Health Officeโ€“Boac exemplify responsible stewardship and commitment to public service.
