DENR MIMAROPA concluded the second hybrid meeting of the Technical Working Group on Water Resource Management at the City Garden Suites Hotel, Manila, August 8. In his welcome remarks, Regional Executive Director Felix S. Mirasol, Jr., who is also the Chair of the TWG, highlighted the need to protect water resources and ensure sustainability of watershed management in the region. Also present in the meeting were Assistant Regional Director Maximo C. Landrito, representatives from EMB and MGB in MIMAROPA and other partner agencies, namely National Economic and Development Authority, Ecosystems Research and Development Bureau, National Power Corporation, National Irrigation Administration, Department of Public Works and Highways, Department of Health, National Commission on Indigenous Peoples, Provincial Governor’s Office, Palawan, City Government Office, Puerto Princesa, US Agency for International Development, Palawan State University, and Marinduque State College.
