Newly-appointed employees take oath

take oath copyTwenty six (26) newly–appointed personnel of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) MIMAROPA- Regional Office took their oath of office, which was administered by Regional Director (RD) Oscar C. Dominguez, in a simple ceremony held at the 5th Floor Conference Room, DENR By the Bay, Roxas Boulevard, Ermita, Manila last February 22, 2016.

Assistant Regional Director for Management Services (ARDMS), Nelson V. Gorospe, CESE, welcomed the new employees who passed the screening and selection process under the second wave of the Department’s ongoing rationalization plan.

Regional Director Dominguez extended his greetings to the new appointees and reminded them that as they took their oath of office, they now form part of the strengthened workforce of the DENR MIMAROPA Region. As such, they are expected to deliver their best in fulfilling their duties and responsibilities.

Section 40, Chapter 10, Book I of Executive Order No. 292 (Administrative Code of 1987) requires all officers and employees of the government to take an oath or affirmation to faithfully discharge to the best of their abilities the duties of the office or position they are about to enter. Copies of the Oath are deposited to the Civil Service Commission and the National Archives.
